Welcome to Q-Electronics

I'm an Electrical Engineering student at the University of Florida with two major areas of interest microprocessor applications (embedded systems, IoT, and automation) and circuit design.

I realized my interest in microprocessors in the summer of 2020 after taking a class, EEL3744C: Microprocessor Applications, taught by Professor Eric M. Schwartz at the University of Florida. It sparked an interest in me that pushed me into the world of MCUs.

Since taking that class, I got myself an Arduino, a lot of sensors, motors, and drivers to playing around with. My objective is to gain a fundamental understanding of how the individual components work so I can learn how to put them together to make different types of meaningful Arduino based projects.

Circuit design, on the other hand, is an area that has always interested me, although I never really had the knowledge to delve into it. Now that I've taken Circuits I and Circuits II, I honestly do feel like I have what it takes to begin to explore the world of electronics - and that I will!

I thought I was going to make this blog after I mastered the Arduino and started making perfect projects with no flaws. However, 3 months of playing with Arduino has taught me that an engineer waiting for flawless to do something would never do anything so on this day (15th November 2020), I made my blog.

I'm not really at the point where I've started making complex projects, but I'm really enjoying the learning process think it's worth documenting. The ultimate goal is to grow from a simple project engineer to a complex project engineer while developing all my electrical skills along the way.
